How did you get into modeling and how long have you been modeling?

I filled out a paper on this signup sheet for Barbizon in my local mall, I didn’t take it seriously at all but when they called me to audition and I was accepted into the school and then I graduated….I was hooked and in love with everything that had to do with modeling and acting. I’ve been doing this for 5 or 6 months now.

What are your modeling goals or what you seek to accomplish while modeling?

My modeling goal is not to be rich or famous but to do something I love while making enough money to live comfortably. I would also like to be sort of and ambassador for dark skin women, you don’t see a lot of black models let alone dark skin women who model, there are some but not many and I want to show the world that dark skin is just as beautiful.

What has been your biggest gig so far?

So far I have done two promotional gigs for two different clothing stores in local malls. The one promotional gig I did for BeBe was a big deal to me.

What is your dream modeling/acting gig?

My dream modeling gig is to be in Vogue, Elle or walk the runway during NY Fashion week. My dream acting gig is to be in a CoverGirl commercial, be in a movie with Angela Bassett.

What are your favorite modeling areas?

Fashion is my favorite because I love what you can do with different pieces of clothing, I love to color block and throw different patterns together. I do, however, feel like I have been pushed more so towards being a commercial model but I would like to branch out and explore other areas of the modeling world.
